This Privacy Policy explains what data the Boosterroles Discord bot and its web dashboard (the "Service") collect, how it is used, and your rights. We collect the minimum data needed to provide the Service and never sell your data.
To provide its features, the Service stores the following identifiers and settings:

When you log in to the web dashboard, we use Discord OAuth2 with the identify and guilds scopes. Your Discord user ID, username, avatar and the list of servers you can manage are used only to sign you in and show your servers. This information is kept in a temporary, encrypted session cookie and is not stored permanently in our database.
Boost status and server-tag (primary guild) status are read from Discord in real time to assign or remove roles. They are not stored beyond what is necessary to perform the action.
Data is used solely to operate the Service: creating and managing booster roles, detecting server-tag wearers and assigning reward roles, powering the role picker, writing action logs to your chosen channel, and authenticating you on the dashboard. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.
Configuration data is stored in a private database on a dedicated server located in the European Union (Germany, hosted by Renzom). Access is restricted to the bot operator. The website and dashboard proxy are served via Vercel. Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their own purposes. Data is processed only through:
Server configuration and role records are kept while the bot is in your server. When a booster role is deleted, its owner stops boosting/wearing the tag, or a member leaves, the related record is removed automatically. Removing the bot from your server deletes that server's configuration. You can also request manual deletion of your data at any time (see Contact).
Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EU under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct or delete the data we hold about you, and to object to its processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
The Service is not directed to children under 13, or under the minimum age required by Discord in your country. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone below that age.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
